Become a Volunteer for the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago (ILCC)
As a nonprofit organization, the ILCC's human resources are limited to a small group of staff members, so its events are coordinated and carried out with the assistance of individuals who dedicate their time to making sure every event runs smoothly. We have more than 100 volunteers who have become part of the ILCC family throughout the years and even some who have been with us for more than 10 years!
Volunteers who have invested their time reap the rewards of contributing to the Latino and arts community, by meeting new friends and watching some of the most spectacular Latino shows in Chicago!

Current Volunteer Opportunities
Office Help:
If you can volunteer anytime during the business hours of Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., gives us a call at (312) 431-1330. Anytime during the year, we could use help answering the phones, sending out mailings, data entry, assisting with development and public relations projects and basic clerical duties.
Chicago Latino Film Festival:
The Chicago Latino Film Festival is the ILCC's biggest event and requires more than 100 volunteers to help at the theaters and gala events. Some of the duties include: crowd control, customer service, ticket sales, office help, ticket taking, event decorating, clean-up, distribution of posters and film schedules and much more.
Volunteers for the Chicago Latino Film Festival are required to attend orientation meetings held in weeks prior to the Festival.
Year-Round Events:
Aside from the Chicago Latino Film Festival, cultural programs including music, dance, theater and visual art exhibits are produced throughout the year. These events require volunteers to help with the distribution of promotional materials, ticket selling, crowd control, event set-up and more. Volunteers will receive an email notification on the latest upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
